Terms of Service
Clear terms,
before you subscribe.
Effective August 6, 2026 · Sandbox checkout only
1. Provider
codexbro is provided by an independent developer based in mainland China. Legal name, verified support email, and required contact details will appear here, on the support page, and on transaction receipts before live checkout opens.
2. Product
codexbro is a local macOS system monitor and Codex usage statistics tool. It is not an official OpenAI product and does not represent OpenAI limits, billing, or service commitments.
3. Trial
Each user receives one 2-day full-feature trial, measured as 48 hours from first launch, with no payment information required.
4. Personal license
A personal license is for the purchaser only and may activate up to two Macs at once. You may unbind an old device before switching. Sharing, reselling, renting, or bypassing device limits is prohibited.
5. Price, renewal, and cancellation
The Personal plan is USD $12 per year. Checkout displays currency conversion, taxes, renewal date, and the final amount before payment.
The annual subscription renews automatically unless canceled before the next billing date. Cancellation stops future charges while access continues through the current billing period.
6. Updates
An active subscription includes all feature updates released during its term. No specific feature, system metric, or hardware sensor is guaranteed on every Mac model or future macOS version.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use codexbro unlawfully, infringe others’ rights, disrupt licensing services, or copy, distribute, or reverse engineer it beyond what applicable law permits.
8. Refunds
Refunds follow the Refund Policy. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law are not limited.
9. Changes and liability
We work to keep the app stable and readings accurate, but system APIs, third-party services, networks, and hardware differences may cause unavailable, delayed, or inaccurate metrics. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Contact and disputes
Please contact us first through the support page. The parties should try to resolve disputes informally, subject to mandatory applicable law.
