1. Scope

This policy explains how the codexbro website and macOS app handle information.

2. Data processed on your Mac

codexbro reads local Codex statistics and macOS system health to display limits, tokens, CPU, GPU, memory, storage, and network metrics. Trend caches stay in your Application Support directory.

This monitoring data is not uploaded to codexbro servers. Codex limit status may still depend directly on your current Codex sign-in and network connection.

3. Advanced sensors

Temperature, fans, and enhanced GPU/thermal status require you to explicitly install the local Helper and grant one macOS administrator authorization. Core monitoring does not require administrator access.

4. Website data

codexbro does not add advertising trackers or cross-site behavioral analytics. Hosting providers may record standard logs such as IP address, browser type, and request time for security, diagnostics, and basic operations.

5. Purchases and activation

Our checkout provider processes payment details, billing region, and tax information. codexbro does not store full card numbers.

To deliver and verify licenses, codexbro may process purchase email, order ID, payment and renewal status, license status, activation device identifier, app and macOS versions, and activation time. Device identifiers are used only to enforce the two-Mac limit and prevent abuse.

6. Retention, sharing, and deletion

Order and financial records are retained as required by the payment provider and applicable law. License records are kept only as needed to provide subscriptions, handle refunds, restore purchases, and prevent fraud.

We do not sell personal information or share it with unrelated third parties, except as needed for payment, hosting, email, licensing, or legal requirements.

7. Your choices

You may decline the advanced-sensor Helper and request access, correction, or deletion of personal information held directly by codexbro. Legally required financial records may not be deleted immediately.
